Who stays in Vallauris and Golfe-Juan: summer families, and the others.
Golfe-Juan has what its neighbours rarely have: sandy beaches, flat and long, with the Lérins islands opposite. It is the families’ resort, from June to September, between Juan-les-Pins that dances and Cannes that receives. People come for two weeks, with children and parasols, and come back the following year if the flat really was five minutes from the beach, as the listing promised.
In May and September, the conferences of the Palais des Festivals spill over this far: Cannes is a quarter of an hour away, prices are lower here, and a quiet flat with parking finds a taker for MIPIM week or the Festival. The Port Camille-Rayon and the old harbour also welcome, all year round, yachtsmen and crews.
Vallauris, up on the hill, lives on another clientele: that of the Picasso museum and the War and Peace chapel, the galleries and the ceramics workshops, enthusiasts who stay two or three nights. Stays are shorter there, prices gentler, and guests more curious about the village’s history than about the sea.

How much does our management cost in Vallauris and Golfe-Juan?
CA Conciergerie offers holiday rental management in Vallauris and Golfe-Juan for a single commission of 20% of the rental income paid out by the platforms, VAT included, calculated after their fee and excluding cleaning fees. No set-up fee, no subscription: the property study is free and the set-up (photos, listings, going live) is on us. Cleaning and linen are paid by guests. Example: in a month when the platforms pay you €2,000, our commission is €400, VAT included; your income lands directly in your account. Our pricing in detail
The season is clear-cut: full from June to September, gentle in May and October, quiet in winter, outside the conference weeks in Cannes. The share of nights booked is lower than in Antibes or Nice because supply is plentiful and winter slack; that is precisely what rewards a home well prepared, well photographed and priced with discipline: it takes the bookings the others let slip.
The neighbourhoods of Vallauris and Golfe-Juan: the sand, the harbours, the hill.
- Golfe-Juan, seafrontThe sandy beaches, the station close by, the seafront restaurants. Flats less than ten minutes’ walk from the beach let first; prices are the highest in the commune there, parking the hardest.
- The harboursThe old harbour and the Port Camille-Rayon, the quays, the evening terraces. A clientele of yachtsmen and couples, short stays out of season, a setting that photographs well when the pictures are taken at the right moment.
- Vallauris, the potters’ villageThe sloping streets, the avenue of the workshops, the castle square. Older flats, often without a lift, for guests who love villages; the beach is twenty minutes’ walk downhill, more on the way back up, and it has to be written.
- The hills in betweenVillas and residences with pools on the heights, the view over the gulf and the islands. Family or group stays, by car; large homes have their best summers here.

What lets well in Golfe-Juan: the beach on foot, and the rest.
- The beach in minutes, not metresEveryone writes “close to the sea”. We write “seven minutes on foot, along Avenue de la Gare”, and the guest knows where they stand.
- A parking space in summerGolfe-Juan fills with cars from July to August. A private space raises the price and the reviews; without one, we name the nearest car park.
- Family equipmentA cot, a high chair, a washing machine, real beds in the bedrooms. Families read those lines before the photos.
- Cool August nightsAir conditioning that works, shutters on the south side, mosquito screens. Summer reviews make the following spring’s bookings.
- In the village, the historyA guest book that says where the workshops, the museum and the market are, and at what hour the light is beautiful on the square: Vallauris guests come for that.
Managing a home in Vallauris and Golfe-Juan from Villeneuve-Loubet.
Golfe-Juan is twenty minutes from our base along the coast, with Antibes and Juan-les-Pins in between; the train links Villeneuve-Loubet-Plage to Golfe-Juan-Vallauris without a change. We plan cleaning and arrivals around those journeys, and around summer Saturdays, when the coast road no longer moves.
In Golfe-Juan, guests receive before they set off the residence entrance, the parking space and the way to the beach; in Vallauris, we arrange to meet on a square where one can stop, and carry the bags up when the lanes demand it. The guest book tells the truth about the steps and the slope.
The standard is the same as elsewhere: hotel linen, cleaning checked against a list, a line reachable night and day during the stay, a statement at the end of the month. What changes here is the very marked rhythm of the seasons: we prepare the summer from spring, and open the calendar for the conferences in Cannes months ahead. On the other side of the Cap, Antibes and Juan-les-Pins live for more of the year. The local rules — declaration, registration number, day ceiling, change of use — are in our 2026 guide, town by town.
What owners ask us in Vallauris and Golfe-Juan.
My flat is in Vallauris village, far from the beach: does it let?
Yes, to other guests and at other prices: couples and art lovers for two or three nights, families who accept driving down to the beach. The listing leads with the village, the museum and the workshops, and gives the real distance to the sea. The price takes it into account.
What happens during the Cannes conferences?
Prices rise and enquiries come early: our pricing tool raises them for those weeks, and we set a minimum stay that avoids isolated midweek nights. A quiet flat with parking, a quarter of an hour from the Palais, finds a taker almost every time.
Is winter really empty?
Quiet, not empty: long stays at fair prices, yachtsmen around the harbours, the year-end holidays. It is also the time for works, for photographs in low light, and for preparing the next season.
How much does your management cost in Vallauris and Golfe-Juan?
The same everywhere: 20% of the rental income paid out by the platforms, VAT included, with no set-up fee or subscription. Cleaning and linen are paid by guests. Details and a worked example: our pricing.
